Value Formation through Baseball

Thousands of parents have been encouraging their kids to take on the game of baseball in order to encourage them a sort of early value formation. It is no wonder that there are many boys who have been participating in little league games. Baseball is a wonderful sports that inculcates both individual and team values. It is a unique sport in such a way that esprit de corps can be developed on one hand, while self-reliance and discipline can be developed on the other. It is not all about winning with baseball as long as you try to pitch in your best efforts and drive to achieve the ultimate goal of the team. Formation of values through baseball is not a give-away and instant thing, though, as it still depends on other factors like the support of teammates, coaches and parents.
