George Herman Ruth, Jr. is known by many nicknames such as “The Bambino,” and “The Sultan of Swat,” but most people know him as “Babe Ruth.” He is said to be one of the greatest sports heroes of American culture, was one of the first five players elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame, named baseball’s Greatest Player Ever, and ranked Ruth Number 1 on the list of Baseball’s 100 Greatest Players.
