Films on Baseball

Due to the popularity of baseball, many films incorporated aspects of the game on its storyline or basically revolves around the game itself. Some worth mentioning baseball related flicks are “American Pastime”, which is a film about a group of Japanese prisoners who built a baseball league and challenged American players. Another is “Angels in the Infield,” which is a story about a baseball player who lost his confidence in playing the game and in his role as a father to his 10-year old daughter.

His daughter prayed to God, asking Him to restore her father’s pitching skill and confidence. As a reply God sends angels to answer the prayer. There are so many more baseball films out there, some categorised as sport action, some drama. There are also comedies and even thrillers and horror.
